 K_eUQ7_omw(Ack, sorry, it keeps screwing up the link in the comments :/ Just search, Kalafina, Serenato and you'll find it...) There's a long story behind this... I've been slightly annoyed with my traditional art lately, and how I need to work on fur, anatomy, and how I FAIL at drawing manga/anime people... But I was on the computer the other night, brooding over this, and thought of just doing a wolf/dragon hybrid just to test out my skills right now. And this happened. I was really happy about the outcome of this one  It reassured me quite a lot. I just have to make sure I take my time, and not draw fur quite so thick and clumpy when drawing strands of it. And to also use several colors for the effect I hope for, as well as work from light to heavy pressure/coloring.But seriously.... LOL this litttle guy might as well be Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for all I know  I was sitting there looking at this, and I was all like, 'WTF HE LOOKS LIKE A REINDEER, ROFLMAO' But I like it though.  The feathers were supposed to be whiter and lighter, but with the effect I was going for, that didn't really happen  |
